North Carolina freshman Jill Shippee placed second in the women's hammer with a third-round throw of 210-6 (64.16m) at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships at Hayes Track at the Haugh Complex in Bloomington, Ind. Shippee improved on her own mark as the No. 4 U.S. U-20 performer in history.
